BRANDING
I have always been interested in developing brands, positioning and personas as a means to sell a product or service. A brand isn’t just a logo or a mission statement, it’s a tool to tell the end user or customer exactly how an organisation operates. By thinking about the typeface, colour schemes, look and feel of a company we convey very important messages to the end user and how they interact with a product, branding is how we do this.
Multimedia
Design undertakes the same process no matter the media. Personally I don’t like to pigeon hole myself into a graphic, digital or print designer. I look at design as a way to solve a problem, and a solution can take many paths that all undertake the same process. To be a good designer you need to adapt a product to the user, involving all stakeholders in the development of that groundbreaking idea.
Print has always been a media that has interested me. I have been lucky enough have experience working within a print design agency as senior designer which had allowed me to experience first hand print production and understand a variety of techniques used in print design.
I bring all these techniques together into my works as I try produce new designs with the latest variety of print finishes.
