An interesting future prediction brief, this was a student project from when I was studying my MA Design circa 2016. Set by world renowned branding agency Elmwood, the task was to design and develop the concept for a barbershop in the year 2026. Complete with UX app development using Proto.IO and concepts for a future proof idea. A service where hair was recycled to produce food by processing Dermestadae beetles into beef flavoured patties (I know crazy right.) and an online booking for a barbershop concept was conceived (Booksy wasn’t even on the radar yet.) the hairfarm earnt the user credit every time they got their barnet refreshed.
